Twist Braid & Snake Chain Styling by Allen Thomas Wood

1. Take two pieces of hair, twist the back piece away from your face, then cross it over to the front and repeat, always twisting the back piece away, then crossing.

2. Attach the top part of the braid against the side of your head by adding in hair to that back piece as you work your way down. Let it hang free somewhere above your ear—no need to tie it off at the end—then weave the snake chain into your braid however you’d like. 3. Then weave the Snake Chain into your braid however you’d like.

PRO TIP: Before you start braiding, pulse ReFINISH Dry Shampoo or Glint Texture & Shine Spray from roots to ends for added texture. This will create a thicker braid as well as help the snake chain stay in place.
