warm summer shades

Gold, copper and warm brown shades reflect the sunlight best, making them the perfect choice for the longer, brighter days of summer. Whether you prefer peachy blonde, ginger red or bright lemon yellow, adding warmth will soften and brighten your look for the season. How do you know which shade is right for you? Step: When selecting a hair color keep your skin tone and eye color in mind. If your skin has pink undertones you will look great in bright yellow or copper shades. If your skin has an olive cast try sandy or peachy hues that are both warm and cool.

Step: Eye color is another important component in hair color selection. Match the accent colors in your eyes to make your eye color pop. Even if you have blue or gray eyes you may have have flecks of gold or brown in them; matching these tones will make your eyes sparkle.

Step: Blend a few different shades for the most natural, sun kissed look. Keep roots a shade or two lighter than the base shade or give ends a kick of brightness.
