ARROJO Studio is located in 3 of the trend capitals of New York City: SoHo, TriBeCa, and Williamsburg. Being the creative hairdressing brand we are, we attract a creative crowd. Our stylists are around for the birth, the death, and the eventual modern reboot of cut & color trends.
Here’s what is trending right now in New York City!
Color: Bronde; Hair Painting
Hair Painting by Tessa at SoHo
Blonde has been atop of the trends the past year— now we’re heading into a more natural blonde trend with hair painting. More than just an ombre, this rooty blonde look has a new name: bronde. “People want to see high contrast color, not necessarily on their part line but weaved throughout the hair. Everything is really natural and lived in right now. Natural and high contrast can really form together to be one,” stylist Zach says.
Cut: Blunt Bobs
Asymmetrical Bob With Blunt Bangs: Cut by Alex at TriBeCa, Color by Kristen at TriBeCa
A cut we’ve been seeing a lot of are asymmetrical blunt bobs. Now we are seeing people adding blunt bangs to accompany this look. A fun way to switch it up.
Pink Pixie: Color by Lauren at Williamsburg, Cut by Jessica at Williamsburg
Pixies are definitely having a moment and we are loving it! With celebrities like Katy Perry and Lena Dunham flocking to the pixie— more girls with longer locks are opting for a big chop.
Color: Rose Gold

In the summer you see more natural colors than compared to the fall. Rose Gold is a nice mix between the bold & natural. Rose gold is the perfect summertime happy medium!
