It looks like skinny braids are trending down for the moment. We’ve suddenly seen an influx of more loosely worn, ever more substantial braids inspired by your boyfriend’s casual style. So when we came across the wider, undone, yet not mussy braids seen at the most recent Suno collection, we knew we found a braid everyone would love. And while creating this particular plait doesn’t seem possible without a second set of hands, we have a great alternative. Click through to style notes for details. –– Michelle Rotbart
Step One: Pull hair to one side and spray with refinish dry shampoo.
Step Two: Start with three small pieces of hair, similar to how you would begin a French braid.
Step Three: Pick up tiny sections of hair (leaving most of the hair in the middle) and pull them into the braid as you work your way down. Make sure to be loose with your hand, this braid should not be super tight.
Step Four: Continue until all hair is braided and secure with a hair tie. Spray a few pulses of primp on the braid for hold.
