Every season certain braids move into the limelight while others are relegated to the periphery. Personally, I’m pretty burned out on intricate waterfalls, basket weaves, and milkmaid braids, but the doesn’t mean I’ve give up on entwines, just that I’m into simpler variations. Tiny braids distributed intermittently throughout the hair work as texture-highlights, adding interest while leaving hair loose. Learn to create the look in the notes. –– Laura Martin

Step: Anywhere on the head, take a 1” approximately square section of hair. Spray lightly with hydro mist and comb through.

Step: Divide section into 3 strands and plait, crossing right over center, left over center, and continuing to ends. Finish with a small, clear hair band.

Step: Select another section and repeat steps 1 and 2. Continue in this manner throughout the head, spacing sections somewhat evenly, until desired result is achieved.
