pin tucked styles

Part twist, part chignon, and part victory roll, this understated elegant look is the perfect blend of vintage and modern aesthetics. It’s just right for pairing with a billowy dress, oversized shades and strapy gold sandals. You could use it to dress up a pair of jeans for date night, or add some glam to vintage swimsuit. Step: Divide hair in the center, prep with a mist of refresh and brush through. Take a small section from the right side of the part and divide in half. Twist each half clockwise, then fold counterclockwise. Add more hair into the back section, twist clockwise and fold counter.

Step: Continue adding hair, twisting and folding to the nape. Blouse to loosen, then pin and repeat on the opposite side.

Step: Brush remaining hair back, flat against the head. On top of hair, across the back hairline, create a row of bobby pins interlocked in “x”s. Pin twists into the outside edges of the section.

Step: Fold ends up and over the bobby pins creating soft loops. Attach to the base with more hair pins. Finish with holding spray.
