We have a penchant for braids and buns because of the endless variations you can make to produce new styles. One of the plaited hairstyles we’ve been crushing on is the upside down fishtail bun. Back detail creates interest in a subtle way. This updo looks intricate but in fact is fairly simple to create if you already know how to make a fishtail braid. Step: Separate your hair horizontally and part and pin the top part of your hair away. Create your part where you want your braid to end and bun to begin.
Step: With the the bottom half of your hair, apply texture paste to prep your hair for braiding. Start braiding at the nape of your neck and work your way up to the part you created.
Step: Once finished braiding, gather all of your hair a make a top bun and secure with an elastic.
