With radiant shine, this soft copper red color is sure to be a trend this summer. The beauty of this braid is that it helps to show off sparkling red and golden highlights, while promoting the texture in these long, soft layers. Swing bangs and braids aggressively to the side, and keep things loose and undone anytime low-slung tousled élan is needed or desired.
Step: Apply volume foam to damp hair, roots to ends. Scrunch hair intermittently until almost dry.
Step: Apply refinish dry shampoo all over to increase texture and volume.
Step: Let the braiding begin! Push hair all to one side, the messier the better. Create a loose, two or three strand braid and push behind the ear. Use the image above as inspiration.
Step: The layers may tend to fall out of the shape at the back of the style. To fix, take bobby pins and pin any loose bits back into the shape. Focus styling on making it look perfectly imperfect.
