This braided style makes cornrows glamorous by adding a forties-style rolled front. It’s a little vintage, a little rock and roll. The two tight cornrows in the back feel tough, and girlish at the same time. This entwine can be easily transitioned into a dressier evening look by pinning the braid up into a bun, or by simply folding the braids over at the nape.
Step: Section your hair straight down the center, and across from ear to ear, making four sections.
Step: Prep the two back sections with hair crème to smooth fly-aways and add control. Braid into two tight cornrows and secure with rubber bands.
Step: Prep the front section with refinish dry shampoo. Roll in toward the center part and secure with bobby pins. Finish with holding spray.
